Hello friends!

I’m Laura Kyttanen a woman on a mission to empower other Lady Boss Mamas to follow their dreams.

I live in Los Angeles with my hubby, Janne - AKA as the “3D guy”, our toddler son, Aiden, and our warrior cat, Xena. I am obsessed with dark chocolate, Amazon Prime, cooking and spending time at the beach. Read on to discover a small taste of how I got to where I am today!

I didn’t always feel the way I do today: inspired to wake up everyday to build a business I am passionate about, surrounded by people who lift me up and encourage me to dream bigger, an amazing platform to share stories so I could motivate others to build their empire in a city where it finally feels right to call “home.” In fact, just a year ago you would have found me crying at my desk, my hair in a mom bun, exhausted from a lack of sleep and financially stressed out. What I had thought was going to be an exciting leap into my dream job, turned into an overwhelming blue ocean filled with hungry sharks leading to an identity crisis and burnout which caused me to hit rock bottom.

It all started when I turned 35 and boldly said goodbye to the career I had built over the last decade supporting global organizations with large transformations. Instead I found myself saying yes to a one-way ticket to La La Land offered by a Finnish man I was in love with - in hopes that I would be able to achieve my bigger dreams that didn’t seem to be happening in the corporate landscape. This decision would be one of the best and hardest things I have ever done in my life.

I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THE GIRL WHO LEFT EVERYTHING BEHIND (three times) TO FOLLOW HER DREAMS AND HER HEART WOULD LAND ON HER FEET AND BECOME EVEN STRONGER THAN BEFORE.

For anyone who has been through a major change in their life, you know how hard it can be to gain perspective and find the right mindset to work through it.  Multiply it by 4 - move to a new place, get married, become a brand new mother and first time entrepreneur - it becomes close to impossible to ignore all the fear, self-doubt, anxiety and pressure. Luckily, given my background in organizational psychology and my “never give up” attitude, I took matters into my own hands and began searching for ladies that have been in similar shoes so I could learn and grow from them. This became the beginning of Lady Boss Mamas.

It didn’t take long before I realized that my hardships and challenges were no different from any other boss mama out there chasing their dreams, trying to make big things happen so they could live a life they loved. What I started to notice, though, was that all these ladies had a few things in common: more grit, more soul and more determination to create a life of magic. All characteristics which I possessed as strengths! Discovering this was a turning point for me. I woke up with a fire in me - determined to take back my power and to do only doing the things that gave me energy and that I was most passionate about.

It was through this journey that I found my life’s purpose: to build an amazing community which empowers other boss mamas to go after their dreams, so they can live an abundant and fulfilled life that they love. My hope is that no boss mama ever feels as lonely or confused as I once did. I truly believe we are stronger together.
