The idea behind the launch event for pixsweet

When asked to lead the planning and implementation of the launch event for pixsweet, I was thrilled because I would finally be able to execute a vision I have had for a long time!  

This dream came about as a result of my career in the flavor and fragrance world. It was where I began learning more about consumer science and how powerful our senses are in the process of brand perception.

As I began thinking about the type of experience we wanted to create and the journey we wanted to take people on at the launch event, I was reminded of this amazing Master Chef, Florin, I worked with not so long ago. 

He discovered that most of the ingredients in the famous perfume, Tresor, were edible! Naturally, this intrigued him and he wondered how the fragrance would taste.  So he decided to create a chocolate truffle which included the edible ingredients of the fragrance.

You are probably wondering, how does Tresor taste? Oddly enough it was beautiful, just like the fragrance!

But what was even more fascinating to me was that β€œtaste” became a new way to discover the brand!

Fast forward to the launch of pixsweet, I was determined to create a multi-sensorial experience for the guests, which would trigger an emotional connection to the brand.

I started by asking the employees of pixsweet how the brand would look, taste, feel, sound and smell.

This became the inspiration for creating sensorial stations targeting the different senses while communicating the pixsweet brand.

The result was amazing! People were raving about how different the event was and that they really enjoyed the journey we took them on.

Most people’s favorite was the 3D blindfold station because it required them to slow down and fully taste the ice pop in order to guess the flavor.

Although the reaction from our guests was amazing, and I was honored to be able to create such an event, what makes me even happier is the ongoing support I get from my husband, also known as Chief Troublemaker of pixsweet.

He is constantly encouraging me to explore my interests and even tonight when I asked him how he feels about my passion, he said:

 "You know that I am a true believer of merging unexpected disciplines together in order to create something new. Therefore, how you are integrating the senses with the pixsweet brand is truly inspirational for me."
