Everyday I am amazed by how small the world truly is. It seems that there is always a third degree of separation between people you meet and people you already know.
Elizabeth Fraley is a perfect example of that type of connection. We found each other through a mutual friend and decided to have lunch!
After meeting her, I discovered a sweet, smart and kind women who devotes her time to developing children. Therefore, I was convinced that Elizabeth was not only a perfect lady boss but someone that I could learn a lot from in order to support Aiden's development at this very important time in his life.
For a taste of Elizabeth's life and to find out more about the specialized children programs she leads, read below. You will also discover the words which inspired me to create her Sensorial Mood Wheel.
Tell me about kinder ready and elementary wise:
Kinder Ready™ is a specialized program designed for students between the ages of 3 to 5. The program would best be described as a “balanced approach” to learning. Our teachers are trained in various educational philosophies and will individualize to make the best program possible for your child.
Elementary Wise™ is a program designed to meet the needs of students between the ages of 6 to 12. Based on assessments, our teachers help your child in areas they need more emphasis on, such as math, language arts, or executive functioning skills (organization).
These programs provide assessment, individualized one on one classes, and summer camps in locations throughout West LA.
why are these programs so important?
High quality education is hard to find. One major pitfall is the large student to teacher ratios. Many households have dual-working parents with limited time to help reinforce learning at home. Having an in-home teacher, is great for children. Through this opportunity, children gain another positive adult role model in their life that supports their success both from an academic and a social and emotional standpoint.
Education is a vital part of your child's development. Early childhood education before a child turns five yields significant long-term benefits.
In a few words describe what you love best about your job?
What I find most rewarding about working at Kinder Ready is seeing students meet their learning goals. I love when students have an "a-ha" moment and discover their learning at hand.
I also enjoy meeting the amazing families! Applying to preschool can be a little overwhelming, especially in large cities like Los Angeles. So I love to help families navigate the process and have fun with it! I also love to learn about the culture and academics at various schools in the area to better serve my clients.
How would your ideal customer feel about your brand?
The ideal client would feel value towards the brand because it is something representing the future. Their child's future. That is the most important part of a child's development. They would also feel that it is a good investment for the future.
How would your brand smell?
Our Kinder Ready brand smells really good!! Imagine Mr. Sketch markers in scents like cherry, orange, banana, mint, watermelon, and grape. The smell of childhood is sweet with endless possibilities.
How would you describe the look of your brand?
The look of Kinder Ready and Elementary Wise is bright and cheery.
Our teddy bear logo for Kinder Ready invites young learners to engage in fun and developmentally appropriate learning.
Our Elementary Wise owl instills in children that those who learn and work to the best of their abilities are wise.
In many of our photos we try and bring the indoors outside to make learning unique, different, and very engaging.
How would your brand taste and why?
Our brand has an "earthy" healthy taste. All of our snacks served to children are of the highest quality. We love serving fresh, organic fruit and vegetables. We love to educate children and families on healthy eating practices and nutrition guidelines.
How would your brand sound?
The Kinder Ready brand sounds beautiful. It could be a child reading with expression. A group of little ones singing at summer camp. Or it could be a teacher commending a student for "a job well done".
