Don’t you love online business communities, like Online Business BFFsSavvy Business Owners or The Rising Tide Society? If you haven't joined one of these groups you should totally check them out! They are great places to hang out as entrepreneurs in order to share best practices and learn from one another!  This is precisely how I discovered Ashley Healy, business owner and mother of two!

Since our universes collided, I got to know Ashley virtually and noticed that not only do we share a lot of the same passions (check out her lady boss playlist!) but we are experiencing what it is like growing a business and being a new mom at the same time.

This is why I am excited to feature Ashley for lady boss Wednesday. Read further for a taste of her life.

In a few words describe what you love best about your job?

I LOVE that my business is my creative outlet where I can take risks and help my clients grow their brands. I run my own marketing strategy and design business that specializes in content creation and brand optimization. I love helping business owners generate more clients and revenue through marketing.

Ashley's life tastes like a slice of sweet watermelon on a hot summer day!

My business has also given me the flexibility I need as a mom, which has been amazing. Becoming an entrepreneur and a mom at the same time has certainly been challenging, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I've had to get really good at both things while being busy with the other, and it's honestly pushed me to be my best self.

What 2-3 tips would you give to other lady bosses?

Believe in yourself and find a way to power through the fear. Life is short, but can feel very long if you’re doing something every day that you hate. Find a way to push through your fears because that’s usually the only thing holding you back. Go for your dreams!

How would your life taste and why?

Sweet and refreshing - like a slice of watermelon on a hot summer day!
